I started in 2016 shipping web features end to end. Over 10+ years I moved from writing the code to deciding how systems are split, how data flows and how teams ship safely, and I still write the code.

At Brandverse I led a 20-engineer team and re-architected a platform serving 10,000+ merchants, cutting latency by 60%. Today I'm a senior engineer at Careem on the partners platform, improving the merchant journey and taking the platform from a great product to excellent engineering.

Outside work I lead Bano Qabil's Programming & Software Development faculty: 60+ instructors and 17 courses I designed, from Frontend to Generative AI. I still teach the expert-level courses, and I advise Bano Qabil Al-Khidmat on onboarding, learning and data management.

      Bano Qabil is a free tech-education programme across 50+ campuses: about 500,000 students registered and 50,000+ taught. I lead its Programming & Software Development faculty of 60+ instructors, designed the 17 courses it teaches, and teach the expert-level courses myself.

    Led a team of 20 engineers and designed Chikoo as its product engineer: Pakistan's all-in-one e-commerce enablement platform, where retail merchants, neighbourhood shops, home chefs and startups launch a working storefront in under 3 minutes.
